Ramjet |

These images are our preliminary tests on Ramjets. The Ramjet itself is made almost completely out of stainless steel. In the first test we used propane as fuel and a fairly high powered leaf blower for air flow. The propane completely combusted and the ramjet put out pretty decent power. Here is a sound file of the ramjet combusting with propane In the second test we used high pressure injected kerosene which did not completely combust due to a lack of air flow through the ramjet. |
